Nüpli in Otepää Nature park, Estonia. The Otepää island-upland, rising from the surrounding plain, covers an area of 1180 sq.km. 19% of the uplands is a protected nature park known for its picturesque scenery. Here are combinations of riverbend, lake and bay, grove, hillock and ancient farmhouse. The lake Pühajärv with its islands and the Pühajärve Park was put under the health protection act of 1929. Now the lake Pühajärv (Holy Lake) is the most beautiful lake in Estonia.
