| Description: | St.Peter?s Church was first mentioned in 1209. The tower and front part was built from 15th -18th centuries. The outstanding monument of Mannerism age was Melngalvju nams (the House of Blackheads) - oldest public building in Riga. The true House of Blackheads was destroyed in 1941and the present building was just recently rebuilt. Knights Roland statue in front of the house is a duplicate too. |
